Biography

Adam Sholder is a mental health educator, consultant, speaker, and the founder of Insight Enrichment Group. For more than thirty years, Adam has worked at the intersection of education, mental health, and community care, guided by a deep commitment to meeting people where they are and helping them move toward hope, stability, and growth.

Drawing from personal and family experience with mental health conditions, Adam has built his career around the belief that meaningful support requires presence, compassion, and a willingness to think beyond traditional boundaries. In 2004, he founded Insight Enrichment Group to provide individualized coaching, life-skills support, executive-functioning strategies, and collaborative case management to teens and adults living with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, thought disorders, trauma, high-functioning autism, learning differences, and other mental health conditions.

In addition to individual coaching, Adam specializes in family coaching and consulting, supporting families in crisis or those seeking guidance as they navigate the mental health care system for a loved one. He works closely with families who are struggling to understand symptoms, access appropriate care, build effective strategies, restore communication, and strengthen their capacity to support their loved one’s recovery. His approach is grounded in empathy, education, and collaboration, helping families regain clarity and confidence during overwhelming times.

ORGANIZATIONAL ENGAGEMENTS

A seasoned mental health educator, Adam regularly provides trainings, workshops, and presentations for clinicians, schools, law enforcement, nonprofit organizations, and community groups. His speaking engagements span topics such as failure to launch, vicarious trauma, recovery-oriented practice, family systems, and youth mental health education. His work with the National Alliance on Mental Illness includes serving as a lead presenter and trainer for the “Ending the Silence” program, a facilitator for family support groups, and a trainer for NAMI On-Campus Clubs.
